Rewired Culture launches with a showcase of Scotland's rising and established hip hop talent.
A HOST of Scottish hip hop talent will take to the stage at SWG3's Poetry Club on Sunday 30 August
as part of a brand new showcase by Rewired Culture.
Nine artists from the Scottish hip hop scene will take to the stage from 7PM, with a lineup featuring
established names on the scene, and fresh faces making their debut.
The traditions of set times and lineup order will be turned on its head with an interchanging mix of all
nine artists throughout the night, giving the audience an exciting and unpredictable experience.
Rewired Culture intends to host regular showcase events featuring a range of music genres, with the
goal of breaking down barriers and stereotypes within the Scottish music scene.
Ross Toner, co-founder, said: Were thrilled to announce the launch of Rewired Culture and to be
showcasing the newest and most exciting artists in the Scottish hip hop scene right now at SWG3 on
30 August.
Breaking down barriers and stereotypes within the Scottish music scene is at the heart of what we're
trying to achieve and were excited to create a platform where artists from all backgrounds can share
the stage, reach new audiences and show the diversity of talent Scotland has to offer.
